Wellsbridge Motorhomes of Ramsey Fortyfoot is a family run business founded by Harry Hyndman Senior forty years ago. Harry’s three sons, Lance, Harry and ‘H’ continue to take the company forward into the future with continued success. Harry's grandson Lance Junior is now working for the company.

Wellsbridge Motorhomes has invested in a large, purpose built showroom which is carpeted and heated for client comfort. The showroom show-cases sixty new and second-hand vehicles. One of the largest in the country, the showroom is situated on thirty two acres of landscaped grasslands by the River Nene. Harry Senior has seen the business go from strength to strength and is already planning the next stage of expansion and development. 

Nothing is Too Much Trouble
Lance and Harry are always on hand to offer expert advice and to answer any queries relating to buying vehicles; the brothers pride themselves in leaving no stone unturned. If you have any problems reaching the showroom Lance and Harry have even been known to send a courtesy car to the train station to transport clients to the sales site, for clients arriving in motorhomes there is free overnight parking. Wellsbridge also has facilities for motorhome storage. Wellsbridge Motorhomes aims to accommodate their customers anyway they can. “Nothing is too much trouble”.

The large, brightly lit showroom includes a substantial area selling caravan accessories. Adjacent to the showroom a small building accommodates a small lounge where clients can enjoy free drinks and comfortable seating in a non-smoking zone.

The youngest brother known as ‘H’ leads a team of three mechanics in the Services Centre at Mereside where there is a  large workshop equipped specifically for spraying, paintwork, PDi, servicing, repairs and fitting new accessories. All the mechanics are Corgi registered gas fitters and have City and Guilds Certificates in caravan engineering.

A Winning Team
Wellsbridge Motorhomes is a main dealer for Elddis, Compass  and Romahome. In 1998 and 1999 Lance and Harry were voted runners-up for Team of the Year and Dealer of the Year and also received Awards of Excellence by Swift Group. The awards of Excellence was awarded to Wellsbridge Sales for scoring the highest customer satisfaction rating. Every new owner of a Swift motorhome receives a questionnaire asking for their views on both the quality of the product and service provided by Wellsbridge. This award not only represents the work of those selling to the public, but behind the scenes in the work-shops, accounts department and administration.

Most used vehicles are sold with the benefit of a full service, 12 months MOT and a one year warranty on labour and parts, the warranty can be extended up to three years at an additional cost. Prices for second-hand vehicles range from £3,000 - £60,000.

New Elddis and Compass vehicles come with a three year warranty on the chassis and cab and a three year warranty on the motorhome conversion. The warranty can be extended up to five years for a nominal charge. A five year Code of Practice protects against water incursion, de-lamination and fibre glass repairs.

Selling around Europe
Wellsbridge Motorhomes offer a sell-on service to clients on a “no sale no fee” basis, or the company will purchase your old motorhome for cash. Wellsbridge offers various part-exchange options when purchasing a motorhome which includes cars, caravans and of course motorhomes.

The stock at Wellsbridge is constantly changing. The Website is updated daily, displaying all new stock and removing sold vehicles.
